Thank you all for your work to create a living list of recruitment locations.  You have shared 87 possible associations and sites to actively recruit from, most of which have formal job boards.  Thank YOU!

The Diversity & Inclusion Council has been working with Human Resources to develop a recruitment guide to assist search chairs in the hiring of faculty and staff colleagues.  The effort will embed DEI principles into our culture and everyday search practices, replacing typical search processes that lead to typical candidate pools.

Recruitment is a critical component of a diverse and inclusive search.  Each of our disciplines and professional paths are represented by professional associations, and, as a result, many search chairs report not knowing where to advertise or recruit.  Collecting this broad network in a single location can become a valuable resource for a search committee and lead to a broader recruitment effort.

I would be grateful if you take 10 minutes to list the professional associations, clubs, and organizations within your discipline.  A link to the spreadsheet is below.  It automatically saves your edits.  Please insert as many rows as necessary to capture the associations that best represent your professional network.  I ask that you complete this list by August 12.

Please remember to include associations from diverse applicant pools, such as the National Society of Black Engineers, National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering, HBCU Faculty Development Network, etc. Thank you!
