The attached memo (signed by Betsy Cantwell) was sent this morning to the ADRs, deans, and department heads. Hopefully, department heads will share with their faculty, but please feel free to share with others in your area.



On February 24, the U.S. government imposed severe financial and export control restrictions on Russia and entities supporting the Russian government. These restrictions are likely to change and may affect current or future University collaborations, agreements, research projects. Please review the attached memo for further information and guidance. As stated in the attached document, the best resource for questions and direction if you currently have or anticipate any activities involving individuals, colleagues, businesses, universities, etc. in Russia is export at arizona.edu<mailto:export at arizona.edu>.
