Subject: FOR SLT - FY23 Budget Update

Dear University Colleagues,

Good news – with Governor Ducey's recent signing of the State Budget, the elements necessary to make decisions and finalize the University of Arizona’s Fiscal Year 2023 budget are in place.

We are working diligently to gather specific details from our partners at the JLBC and ABOR to ensure we make proper adjustments based on the State’s final allocations.

With the Strategic Plan, AIB, and your All Funds submissions to guide the decision-making process, we expect to be able to perform this final analysis for President Robbins to then make decisions within the next couple of weeks. Once those decisions are made, Garth Perry, Vice President & Chief Budget Officer, will share a memo with each area with details on your FY23 budget.

Thank you to the Office of Budget & Planning, Government & Community Relations, SPBAC, and all those who contributed to the AIB and All Funds processes for their incredible work to get us to this point.
