Ed,

Asking for your help to share with and encourage talented “Extentioneers” who are interested to lead Arizona.  All Flinn-Brown fellows are contributing to the growth, prosperity, and fairness of the state or local governments in either appointed or elected positions.  I was in the 2015 cohort and was blessed to learn from a diverse and non-partisan group of leaders from legislative, budget, industry, legal, education, and non-profits.  It was a great experience and I learned a lot.  It was a great way to see how UA can do better for the state, too.

The Flinn and Brown Foundations make significant investments in the development of future civic leaders so they are looking for serious applicants who are primed to achieve the aims of the program.  Applications open on Feb 1.

Inspiring Arizona Civic Leaders to Make an Impact

Dear Jeffrey,

As you know, for civic leaders eager to address Arizona's long-term issues, there's no other statewide program like the Flinn-Brown Fellowship. For over 10 years, the Arizona Center for Civic Leadership at the Flinn Foundation has led the premier leadership program for emerging leaders to expand their knowledge and connections to make a difference in their communities.

It’s been two years since we have had our last cohort of Flinn-Brown Fellows and we are anxious to recruit new leaders into the Flinn-Brown Network. This spring, 25 new community leaders will emerge as the next cohort of Flinn-Brown Fellows and join you as members of the Flinn-Brown Network.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! THE APPLICATION OPENS ON FEBRUARY 1.

Over 75% of our applicants are referred to the program by existing Flinn-Brown Fellows. We value your involvement through our recruitment efforts and this year, it is so much more important for you to help us spread the word through your social and professional networks.

We’re holding virtual information sessions through the month of January and February. The application will open on February 1 with a deadline to apply of February 28.
