Do you feel comfortable and ready to step outside of the Zoom box? Excited to see what people look like without frames around their heads? If you answered "yes" to these questions, then I have two great in-person events for you to consider this summer - The Desert Ag Conference and The Women in Agriculture Conference. However, if virtual courses are more your style, I recommend The 8th Annual<https://extension.arizona.edu/sites/extension.arizona.edu/files/programs/Agenda_6-10-2021_%20New%20Tech%20Workshop_CEU.pdf> New Technologies Workshop for Field Crops, presented through Zoom. I'll include details (below) and a few attachments about all three summer events.
The Desert Ag Conference (Wildhorse Pass Resort & Casino, Chandler, AZ). The conference will be held from June 22nd (golf tournament and welcome reception) through June 24th. I attached the agenda to this email so you can get an overview of the daily events and presentations. The early-bird registration deadline of May 31st is right around the corner, but you can register quickly and easily through the webpage: https://azcropprotection.com/event-4181861
The Women in Agriculture Conference (Wigwam Resort, Litchfield Park, AZ). One of my favorite conferences has returned and is an in-person event on July 8th and 9th. This year's theme is "Ag Stands Together." The best news of the day - You don't have to be a woman and you don't have to be involved in agriculture to attend. Everyone is welcome. The agenda is included on the 1st and 2nd pages of the attached registration form. Early-bird registration deadline is June 20th.
8th Annual New Technologies Workshop for Field Crops (Zoom). If you've been attending virtual events offered through the UA Cooperative Extension over the past year, you already know they are chock-full of valuable information and interesting presentations. An added bonus is certified agricultural pesticide applicators and Pest Control Advisors can often earn continuing education by attending the courses. The New Technologies workshop will be presented from 12:30 - 4:00 p.m. on June 10th. and was recently approved for 3 ½ CEUs. The attached document contains more information and a registration link, which is also accessible on this page: https://arizona.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZcsduCqpj4pG9ZKMZF8lMfXfxK4f0Y7ZGoh
Thank you.
