[CED/CD/EAT] Early December CEU Courses for AZ Certified Applicators and PCAs

Good morning. December 1st and 8th appear to be great days to continue your education on pest and pesticide related topics. The following list contains information about four CEU courses presented virtually on those days. Pre-registration is required for each person attending each course, even if a group is planning to view a course in the same room through the same device.


December 1st: UA Cooperative Extension Late Season Field Day (course details, contact information, and agenda attached to this email)

Course description: Field day topics will focus on 2020 University of Arizona Bt Cotton variety trials for optimum yield, quality, and pest management, plus updates on forage pest management

December 1st: EPA's Invasive Woody Plant Management Webinar - Part 1 (course details and agenda available on pre-registration webpage)

Course description: Attendees will learn how to identify several woody invasive species and IPM practices used to provide cost-effective management, such as mechanical removal (cutting and shredding), herbicide treatment, fire, and biological control.

December 8th: UA Cooperative Extension Turf Pest Management Seminar (course details, contact information, and agenda attached to this email)

Course description: The topics presented will include turfgrass weeds and their control, insects and gopher control, and pesticide safety.

December 8th: Arizona Department of Agriculture's Annual Agriculture CEU Training (course details and contact information available on pre-registration webpage)

Course description: Topics will focus on pesticide regulations, certification, department updates and safety
