Subject: Tuesday 3/17 pm COV-19 update.

  *   Main campus library will close.
  *   Discussion about students accessing computers on campus-no resolution.
  *   Consistent with the Tucson mayor's order today that all restaurants will move to take out service only, all UA food service will close. UA doesn't have to do this because it is a state entity but wants to be consistent with the city. On campus domiciled students will be able to purchased boxed food from food services, no cash transactions, electronic only.
  *   Discussion about testing employees (no resolution and refer to my email about this earlier today)-during this discuss the provost mentioned that there are now putative cases of employees from many colleges (including ours) who have been on campus throughout the last 1-2 weeks, and now have reported: 1. that they have symptoms of COVID-19 disease and high risk signalment (such as being in very high risk countries or US places recently and/or being in very close contact with people in such places) and 2. they are now on medically advise quarantine at home. These people have not been tested-I do not have the details but again think about sensitivity/specificity and the lack of capacity to actually test.
