Thank you for reaching out to the Arizona Board of Regents, on behalf of the UArizona Faculty Senate, to share your opinions about the acquisition of Ashford University by the University of Arizona.  We recognize your dedication to the university,  your diligence in teaching your students, and respect the pride you take in your work.

We also value your interest in the critical work of the Board as we seek to advance the reach of higher education in Arizona and beyond.

We are aware of concerns articulated by faculty, such as those you presented, and have charged President Robbins with developing a transparent plan for ensuring the successful transition of Ashford University to the University of Arizona Global Campus, with a focus on ethical management and student success.

Again, thank you for reaching out.  The board appreciates your feedback, and your message has been shared with all the Regents.
