I just sent to all of you a copy of the memo to the Provost and CFO requesting an exemption of personnel paid by Cooperative Extension funding from the UA financial mitigation plan, e.g. furloughs and salary reductions.

Please do not forward or share this document.

You can tell personnel in your unit that we have submitted this request but this is not something we want to put "out on the street".  We do not want to elevate expectations unnecessarily.  Consistent with our earlier discussions and in an effort to be forthright with all of you, I just want you to have the copy and understand the case as presented.

We will let you know asap when we get an update.
