To decrease cortisol's insidious health affects and avoid burn out, I'm back to regular email practices. Dear Colleagues,

Today, Human Resources posted new guidance for the Grant-Funded Researchers: Furlough Program<https://hr.arizona.edu/grant-funded-furlough-programs>.  This guidance was extensively reviewed by all Deans, Regents and Distinguished Professors, Administration personnel, Centers and Institute Directors, several Faculty and Department / Unit Heads.  Please take some time to review and consider how best to plan for you and your research teams.  As you identify edge cases that need further review and guidance, please share them with your Associate Deans for Research, and know that RII and HR stand ready to assist.   Those questions that ADR's need additional guidance on should be sent in to Human Resources, who will be coordinating responses with RII; the answers to which will be posted in the FAQ.

We are eager to ensure the best outcomes for your research programs, to minimize wherever possible the disruptions to research due to the furlough program, and to return the University to full research strength as soon as is safely possible.
