[CED/CD/EAT] Hiring Waiver Guidance

ALVSCE Leaders,

Attached is guidance on how to fill out the hiring waiver form.  The Provost implemented this waiver process as part of her hiring pause on March 30.  She is highly focused on the financial concerns stemming from the pandemic.  Waivers must demonstrate how the hire or promotion are more beneficial than the drain on financial resources.

Hope this guidance is helpful when you craft your waiver.  KC Armenta is available for assistance for CALS and AES units.  Jennifer Smith is available for assistance for Extension units.
