Good Morning Directors,

I have an item that may benefit your county office for conference calls, webinars, interviews, etc.

If you are interested in the item, please email me no later than next Friday, March 15th

If more than one party is interested, I will pick one at random.

The item is as follows, and an image is attached:

Overall it's in very good shape - amazing for something that was donated.

  *   Model:  Sharp PN-L602B
  * Touch screen: Does not work (but might possibly).
  * Picture: 60" display, bright and crisp. No flickers seen.
  * Sound: Good quality. Remote needed to control volume.
  * It has half a wall mount on the back. (Apparently, the other half is still on a wall somewhere.)
  * Either a new wall mount or a stand would be needed.
  * Receiving department responsible for picking up the item from our office and purchasing a remote control, stand and/or wall mount.
  * This screen weighs 119 pounds! At least two people are required to move this.
  *   Manual at http://files.sharpusa.com/Downloads/ForBusiness/PresentationProducts/ProfessionalLCDMonitors/Manuals/mon_man_PNL602B.pdf

  * Volume: Volume cannot be controlled on the device without a remote. Even at 100% on the computer, the sound from the screen at its current volume level may not suffice in all circumstances. Remotes are readily available for less than $50.
  * The input menu is the only menu available without a remote. (vga, HDMI, etc.).
  * It is possible (but doubtful) that they disabled standard touch on the screen in one of the menus we weren't able to access without the remote. If so the touch features might be restored with the remote.

I have staff attending the ALVSCE poster forum on Friday, March 22nd down on campus, so if the interested/ winning party is also attending, we could bring it down and transfer ownership there. Otherwise, pick up will have to be at our office in Phoenix.

Let me know.

Ed
