[CED/CD/EAT] most volunteers are not required to take the IT security training at this time

Folks,
Matt Rahr (Director of Cyber and Information Technology for ALVSCE) has been working with UITS to determine if our volunteers have to take the IT security training.  As employees, we are required to take the training and were all notified that it had to be completed by the end of this month.

The determination has been made that volunteers who do not access university data are not required to take the training.  University data includes HR systems, financial systems, and other possibilities.
Volunteers working within those systems/databases should be required to complete the training.

Webpages that are open to the public are not university data.
