I am excited to share that this is an offer that I cannot refuse, and look forward to the formal offer letter. I do still have reservations about coming in without Continuing Appointment, however, I hear and recognize your concerns and the opportunity and package is generous and exciting. I do not see anything that I would wish to change at this time.  I did call earlier today to share this news in person, but as you were out I figured a follow-up e-mail would relay the message more quickly.
