Dear Fellow Directors and Faculty:

The CALS Faculty Council has expressed concern over the recent email sent by Dr. Lynn Nadel, Chair of the Faculty, concerning an issue with the former Dean of the Honors College and Provost Comrie (http://facultygovernance.arizona.edu/article/chair-talk-47-case-you-were-wondering)

The CALS Faculty Council drafted a letter (attached) to be sent to CALS faculty Senate Representatives. However, yesterday, Dr. Nadel sent out another faculty-wide email to clarify what he did (http://facultygovernance.arizona.edu/article/chair-talk-48-case-you-werent-wondering).

The CALS FC wants to know what your thoughts on this.  Please let me know or you can communicate directly to the CALS FC Chair, Gayatri Vedantam (gayatri at email.arizona.edu<mailto:gayatri at email.arizona.edu>).
