[CED/CD/EAT] Continuing Status and Promotion Workshop for CED's

The continuing status and promotion committee (Evelyn Whitmer-chair, Kai Umeda-chair-elect, Vic Jimenez, Chris Jones, Susan Pater, and Jeff Schalau) would like to provide a workshop to assist with the transition to all county one and two year reviews being done at the unit level. We do not have an agenda put together yet, but we do know we would like to provide an opportunity for ample discussion to get us all on the same page with supporting our new faculty in being successful in their positions and attaining continuing status and promotion. Dr. Silvertooth is fully supportive of the committee offering this workshop, but unfortunately he is already committed during this time. Right now we would like to find a date that the majority of CED's and Program Associate Directors may be able to attend. We are looking at a noon to noon workshop on either June 28 and 29 or June 29 and 30. These dates are the only time we can get most of the committee together and we hope one of these will work for many of you. Please respond by Tuesday, May 16th.
