University of Minnesota Extension and the National Urban Extension Leaders
(NUEL) are calling for proposals for the National Urban Extension Conference
on "Engaging in Collective Purpose." Extension will host the conference May
7-11 in Bloomington. The deadline has been extended from Sept. 30 to Oct.
14. 

This year's conference not only seeks presentations on impactful urban
programming, but we also encourage presentations about how you do your work:

*	How you position your Extension office or program in your urban
community
*	How you attract and retain personnel in highly competitive
environments
*	Creative and effective partnerships you have developed

Extension is not just about programs, tell us about the applied research you
do with your community. We also want to hear about your partially developed
ideas, what you're thinking about trying - those fit in our futuring topic
area.
