Dear Colleagues:
Many of you have completed your annual reviews using the UA Vitae system, and some of you are still in the process of doing so.  This initiative has involved a wide range of collaborators to integrate all available institutional information on your work history, teaching and other contributions.  These efforts have been led by Maliaca Oxnam, from the University Libraries.  Maliaca and her collaborators have implemented various improvements<http://uavitae.arizona.edu/resources> in response to your input, as noted on the UA Vitae website.

When completing your annual review, you will note that we have asked you to designate information for use in the University Directory that is being developed to list your varied contributions.  This directory is one way that we are building upon the launch of the UA Vitae system.  We will also be developing the system for use in promotion, tenure and continuing status reviews in 2017.  Other benefits of the UA Vitae system<http://uavitae.arizona.edu/system-benefits> are noted on the UA Vitae website.

Documentation on using UA Vitae<http://uavitae.arizona.edu/resources> is included on our website.  If you have questions, you may wish to email the departmental or college contact listed on the UA Vitae website.  Your department and college contacts are you best points of reference because Maliaca and her collaborators work closely with them to provide workshops and other support.
