Subject: Cooperative Extension Administrative Retreat - December 8-10, 2015

County Extension Directors, Ag Directors and Department/School Heads & Directors -

The Cooperative Extension Administrative Retreat will be held December 8-10, 2015 at the Homewood Suites, 4250 N. Campbell Avenue.  We will begin at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, December 8 and end at noon on Thursday, December 10.

This retreat will also include concurrent meetings for the business staff of the county extension and ag center offices.  The meeting for business staff will begin with lunch at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, December 8 and will end at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 9.  Business Officers will be participating in the "Providing Financial Insight" follow up from the October on-campus Business Officer meeting.  Team assignments will be issued November 13.  Everyone is expected to participate. Additionally, the HR Alliance will present "Introduction to the Designated Leave Coordinator Role".

At this time we need to determine lodging, meals and general attendance and are asking that you go to the following Doodle link  (http://doodle.com/poll/z8sn859hhdgwa62m)  to make your choices.  If you are unable to attend - please indicate that on the Doodle poll.   Lodging is for those who are four or more hours away from Tucson. Please respond by November 10.

Please note:


*                 All academic unit heads, school directors and county directors are expected to attend. Unit heads and school directors should focus their time and attention to attending the December 9 session.


*              Business Officers are also expected to attend.
