Dear Friends of Maricopa County Cooperative Extension,


Attached is our March/April newsletter. In this newsletter, we take a look at Smartscape and the Desert Turfgrass School where we train professionals from landscape and turf industries. We also visited with the nutrition education program, known as SNAP-Ed, that ensures low-income families and individuals are educated to make healthy choices on limited funds. Then, we talk about our involvement in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) event where MCCE faculty and staff joined with the Maricopa Agricultural Center and the UA College of Medicine - Phoenix, to host a SciTech Festival event at the UA Biomedical Campus in downtown Phoenix. Last but not least, our program spotlight for this newsletter is on our 4-H Youth Development program.
