[CED/CD/EAT] Professional Development Opportunity

Dear Fellow CEDs,

 

We had the opportunity to have Dr. Merrill Ewert, President Emeritus from
Fresno Pacific University and former Director of Cornell Cooperative
Extension, lead a workshop on teaching and learning titled "From Teaching to
Learning:  Strengthening Facilitation in Cooperative Extension."  The half
day workshop was excellent and I would recommend it to any group of
educators who are looking for strategies to better engage students, or in
our case, clientele.  

 

Merrill's website is http://www.merrillewert.com/. There usually is a small
charge for his services, although that is negotiable since he has a soft
spot for Extension.  

 

Merrill has retired here in Maricopa County, so he's somewhat local for all
of us.  It may be a good opportunity if you're having a retreat or looking
