Hi, Everyone:

I have spoken to many of you about this.  We have 
finally been able to settle on dates with our 
presenters from Utah State University for the Master Food Preserver Training.

Traci Armstrong-Florian, Susie Lyons and I have 
had much interest in creating a program in our 
county and have opened up our training to the 
entire state.  Please let us know ASAP if you 
will be sending anyone at a reduced rate of $50 
which includes materials, supplies, continental 
breakfast, lunch and breaks.  Registration 
materials are attached and due October 15 or you can make other arrangements.

The training will be hands-on and include 
pressure and water bath canning, freezing and 
food drying.  We will also discuss basics of 
setting up a program, marketing and 
sustainability as well as policies and procedures.

I am on annual leave until October 9th, but am 
checking email at least once daily and can respond to texts usually.
