Dear Fellow CEDs:
Is anyone going to this? Has any CED ever gone to these? This might be an
opportunity for Extension to have some input?
Just curious.
Ed

Subject: [heads] Invitation to Heads Retreat from Provost Comrie
The following message is sent on behalf of Provost Andrew Comrie.
Dear Heads and Directors:
I look forward to talking with you at the Heads Retreat on August 19
beginning at 8:00 in the South Ballroom in the Student Union. The focus of
the retreat on translating strategic planning into action is very timely
because we will be working on doing that within colleges and units in the
coming months.
Please join me in thanking the planners of the retreat, co-chairs Janko
Nikolich-Žugich and Rob Miller and the rest of the Heads Up steering
committee (Monica Casper, Zhao Chen, Jim Field, Paulo Goes, Carol Gregorio,
Barbara Kosta, Gary Rhoades, and Tricia Serio).
The retreat will include opportunities to get updates from President Hart,
Interim VP for Research Jennifer Barton, Senior VP for University Relations
Teri Thompson, and Interim Senior VP for Business Affairs Jim Hyatt. These
discussions will provide a chance for you to offer input on issues ranging
from the ever-popular ERE and RCM to fleshing out elements and actions for
the strategic plan.
I look forward to talking with you about the priorities that we will be
pursuing in the coming year.
If you have not done so, please RSVP to Kat Francisco:
