[CED] Water/environment inventory

Dear CEDs:

I received a copy of an email from the Dean sent 
to Department Heads concerning Water/Environment 
Programs within the College.  I believe there are 
several programs that occur in the counties that 
will not be covered by a Departmental 
inventory.  With all the requests being made, I 
hesitated to send out yet another, but I believe 
we need to keep the Dean aware of county contributions.

The note below is requesting information on your 
programs using one line bullet points.   I will 
be working on a county response next Friday (the 
due date is Friday by 5 PM).  Please get your 
submission to me by noon on Friday (at the latest) so I can collate and submit.

Everyone,

I visited the CEO of a very major AZ water/power 
company today who was wondering if CALS did any 
research/extension work in water. He was also 
wondering if we did anything in the environment. 
He was wondering if we were doing much because 
he'd heard so much about our ASU colleague's work 
and nothing about ours. I was somewhat surprised 
by the questions and answered as best I could.

However, this question suggests to me we may have 
a bit of an issue with marketing and 
communication. I'd like to be able to provide our 
stakeholders with a better impression of what we 
do and its impact. It is a good time also for me 
to be able to inform our new president.

With this in mind, I'd like to request that you 
email Bethany by Friday May 4, 5pm with:
