I recently changed my bulb garden to a vegetable garden. Tulips, daffodils, and narcissus were previously planted here. All bulbs were removed and the soil deeply tilled and amended in Sept prior to planting vegetables. The lettuce and cauliflower are ready to harvest. Someone just told me it may be unsafe to eat these vegetables since the area previously had bulbs. Is this true? Are there risks?
