I have four mature citrus trees, two orange, a grapefruit and and lemon. Over the past two years I have pruned the trees to remove dead wood and applied citrus fertilizer according to the time table in the Arizona Republic.
The fruit on the grapefruit tree is small, about the size of a softball with a discolored ring on the skit at the stem end of the fruit. This tree also has dead limbs with brown leaves while the rest of the tree is normal.
One of the orange trees has the same conditions although the fruit is more normal size. The other orange tree has fruit that is bit smaller and the fruit is "tough"
The lemon tree has the same type of dead spots as the grapefruit and it drops 3 to 6 ripe fruit every day. This tree alos has some damage to the bark on the main part of the trunk where the bark is peeling off. The peeled are is about 12" long and 3 to 4" wide.
Any help I could get on this condition would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
