<p><span style="color:black">The Department of Pesticide
Regulation's 2016/2017 Pest Management Research Grant
Solicitation is now available. A total of $1,100,000 is
available; ~55% of which will be allocated for projects
that focus on integrated pest management (IPM) solutions
to pesticide-related risks associated with agricultural
field fumigants in California. The remaining 45% will be
allocated competitively to projects that explore using IPM
to reduce risks associated with other high-risk pesticides
as well as projects focused on reducing risks associated
with fumigants. DPR will consider projects for terms of up
to 33 months.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p><span style="color:black">Project concepts must be
submitted using the FAAST online grant application system
by 5:00 PM on October 1, 2015.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p><span style="color:black">DPR will hold two informational
events: a webinar to explain the technical aspects of
using the FAAST online application submission tool and a
teleconference to answer questions about the grant program
and the application process. Participation in the webinar
and teleconference is voluntary.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
