Winrock International is starting to use virtual volunteering for our International Farmer-to-Farmer projects. With the COVID-19 pandemic lasting much longer than we first anticipated, the need to move to this digital volunteering became clear.  It has worked out really well in the fact the assignments are much shorter and there is no international travel. Some assignments are just a few hours long. We connect on Zoom when necessary from the comfort and safety of our homes.
