Hello everyone,
I hope all of you had a fantastic summer, it flew by and we are starting a new school year. We are excited to share that a team of us hosted the first 4-H STEM Discovery Camp in partnership with Amanda Zamudio, thank you Amanda, this past Monday August 1, check out the link below. It was a collective effort, many thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the camp!! We would like to extend this opportunity to all 4-H Agents, program coordinators and anyone working with youth that would like to infuse and promote STEM into your program and provide some great academic opportunities for our youth. We have networked extensively throughout campus and have developed partnerships with several Colleges to host these camps. We will work with you individually to accommodate your specific needs such as arrival time to the UA, overnight stays, food, etc. We realize that one size does not fit all. These camps can be half day, full day... if you can get the kids here we will make it happen…our aim is to encourage and inspire our youth to pursue STEM fields and at the same time promote the U of A so they can be future wildcats! Give me a call or email me so we can begin planning your 4-H STEM Discovery Camp opportunity for our youth this fall semester. Look forward to hearing from you.
Best,
Jerry
