<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Emergencies are an unfortunate reality on university campuses today. Timely communication to faculty, staff, and students has been a critical lesson from past emergencies: what’s going on, where it’s occurring,
how to stay safe. The University of Arizona adopted the UAlert system and communicates messages through email and/or text messages. Enrollment is automatic if you are a faculty, staff, or student but it doesn’t hurt to double check, also to update phone
number(s) and cell carriers if they have changed. You can opt out at any time. UAlert messages cover the Tucson, Phoenix Biomedical, and Sierra Vista campuses.
