Academic unit leaders prioritize these merit adjustments over all other important investments at annual

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">It is my pleasure to announce that an ALVSCE merit process for both faculty AND staff will be held again this fiscal year. This process is separate from any university salary adjustment process. Prior to
UCAP, the three shared governance groups of faculty, classified staff, and appointed professionals merged their process guidance into a single document. My thanks to them for their hard work.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">To be meritorious in ALVSCE is a high bar and a high honor. Annually, about 20% of ALVSCE employees receive merit adjustments.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Details on the merit program will be shared with unit leaders and business officers next week. Salary adjustments will be realized on July 1 or August 17, depending on the recipient’s appointment.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
