Reminder to disclose Conflicts of Interest and Commitment

[Agriculture, Life and Veterinary Sciences, and Cooperative Extension Weekly Bulletin]

Faculty and staff,

Please read the attached reminder of university policy. As an employee of the UA, each of us is required to disclose any real or potential Conflicts of Interest (something that has the potential to bias our decision making as employees of the UA) or Conflicts of Commitment (activities that take away time or resources from our primary work at the UA).

When in doubt, disclose. You are always better off to disclose a potential conflict as opposed to not disclosing and risk violating UA policy.
