It's Awards Season!!

[Agriculture, Life and Veterinary Sciences, and Cooperative Extension Weekly Bulletin]

Good morning everyone,

There are currently ten University-level awards that are open for nominations and require input (a letter or nomination) from the Dean.


  *   Distinguished Scholar Award
  *   Distinguished Heads/Director's Award
  *   University Distinguished Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award
  *   University Early Career Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award
  *   Henry and Phyllis Koffler Prize
  *   University Faculty Service Award
  *   Early Career Scholars Award
  *   Swanson Prize for Teaching Excellence
  *   Leicester and Kathryn Sherrill Creative Teaching Award
  *   Distinguished Mentor Award
The deadline for these award nominations to be submitted to the Dean's office for completion of the nomination letter is Monday, November 6. Though the University deadline for these awards is not until December 4, early submission will ensure timely response from Dean Burgess, who receives many requests for support letters each year.

Box folders have been created for submission of nominations. Anyone submitting a nomination packet - please email me and I will send a file request link to the appropriate folder so materials can be submitted.
