Dear Colleagues,

The University of Arizona Office of Diversity & Inclusion is hosting the Rise Together Diversity & Inclusion Symposium<https://diversity.arizona.edu/symposium> on March 16 and 17 at the Student Union Memorial Center.  The event compiles 21 sessions from speakers across the university.  Sessions on March 17 are virtual.  Events like this can energize DEI activities in your unit, plant seeds for new activities, and identify best practices from campus leaders.  Please consider attending all or part of the event.

Also, we are in the midst of performance appraisal season (UA Vitae and Career Conversations).  Please consider including ways that you have supported Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in your self-assessment.  Each example is a valuable contribution that, when summed, make up our culture - the most sought-after place to be a part of.  DEI is an individual journey.  Your contributions are a vital part of making ALVSCE an inclusive and welcoming environment.
