African American Museum of Southern Arizona

Dear Colleagues,

The new African American Museum of Southern Arizona<https://www.aamsaz.org/> opened in January, located on the University of Arizona Campus in the Memorial Student Union, Room 244.  The Museum offers a great venue to learn about African American and Black life, culture, and history in Southern Arizona.  It is hosting numerous events and activities throughout February - Black History Month.

Those outside of Tucson campus can explore archives of photographs, videos, and historical content on the website.  You can also sign up to receive updates and events through their newsletter.

My thanks to Dr. Lehman Benson, VP for Black Advancement and Engagement, for recommending the museum to me.
