Important Furlough Programs: Lookup Tool and Revised End Dates

Dear Colleagues,
The ALVSCE Furlough Programs Lookup Tool<https://compass.arizona.edu/report/administration/alvsce-furlough-lookup> has been updated to reflect the new end dates announced by President Robbins.
Summary of Changes to the Furlough Programs

  *   Furlough-Based Salary Program participants: The salary reductions to your paycheck will stop:
     *   January 12, 2021 for employees paid over 9 months (Academic)
     *   February 21, 2021 for employees paid over 12 months (Fiscal)
The total Flex Hours allotted to you will decrease accordingly, and you can take Flex Hours through the end of the Academic or Fiscal year based on your appointment.

  *   Furlough Program participants: Your total required Furlough Hours will decrease in accordance with the end date of the programs, January 12 for Academic employees or February 21 for Fiscal employees.  You must take all furlough hours before the end of the Academic or Fiscal year based on your appointment.

  *   Use the ALVSCE Furlough Programs Lookup Tool<https://compass.arizona.edu/report/administration/alvsce-furlough-lookup> for accurate information. Enhancements to the tool include:
     *   Your remaining (balance of) furlough hours and personal flex time hours
     *   A recommendation of furlough hours to take per pay period to spread your balance of furlough hours over the remaining pay periods in the year.
  *   Tile inaccuracy: The furlough "tile" on your landing page in UAccess Employee and the reports in UAccess Analytics are inaccurate for ALVSCE employees due to the specific exemptions approved by central administration.
