ALVSCE Survey - Childcare Needs

[Agriculture, Life and Veterinary Sciences, and Cooperative Extension Weekly Bulletin]

Good morning again, a reminder to those who have not yet completed the survey - the more responses we have, the more powerful Dean Burgess' message will be to the Provost.

In responses, I have seen that many of you have indicated that your home care issues are not related to day care, but are related to whether school will be back in session, or in some cases, are related to elder care. ALL of this is relevant and all responses will be recorded.

Subject: ALVSCE Survey - Childcare Needs

Good morning, this morning in a meeting that Dean Burgess held with some CALS faculty, the subject of child care needs was raised. What we heard was that some ALVSCE employees are feeling stress about a return to campus because they have lost their child care OR there are current unknowns about child care.

Dean Burgess would like to take this information to the Provost - but first we would like some data to convey how widespread this issue is across CALS.
