A big congratulations and thank you to Jim Davis and the Divisional Advancement, Advocacy, Alumni Affairs and Corporate Relations and Development team, and those unit heads and faculty who worked with them, on achieving 109% of the division's FY20 philanthropy goal of $14,600,000 and 111% of the CALS/CE goal of $11,800,000.  Remarkably, this was accomplished in almost entirely the first eight months of the year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The FY21 divisional development philanthropy goal set by the University of Arizona Foundation is $12,750,000 which is 13% under FY20's actual achievement because of economic uncertainty and assumes students will return to campus.  If students do not return, fundraising will be much more challenging.
