<p class="MsoNormal"><i><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">All incoming student communications will continue to be funneled through the Orientation & New Student Services team via Slate. Any student signed up for an Academic Connection
Date will begin receiving a formalized communication plan five weeks before their scheduled session. This communication plan includes a full suite of emails, SMS messages and phone calls to reach students and share appropriate information. The only communications
that should be sent outside of Slate are those created and sent through Trellis. Trellis immediately sends a confirmation email to students once they have been loaded into a scheduled appointment or event. Additionally, Trellis sends a 24-hour reminder to
students before their scheduled program. If an Academic Unit is building an event through Trellis, they have more ability to customize the message for the participants versus the standard appointment emails. <o:p></o:p></span></i></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Additionally, <b>if your college/department would like to continue receiving PAW submissions via email</b> (as we’ve done in previous years), just let me know and I can set that up. If you go this route, your specified email address(es)
will be CC-ed on PAW responses, but the info will still be sent to Trellis as well.<o:p></o:p></p>
