<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Selected mentees will develop a first-hand insight into the workings of life science enterprises with the goal to foster the career transition of early scientists from academia to industry. Accordingly, this
program does not only target scientists in the life sciences but in any area of STEM expertise, including agriculture, medicine, pharmacy, health sciences, engineering, computer science, and data science.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Participants in the Bayer University Mentorship Program will be paired 1-on-1 with Bayer employees which, depending on mentee's interest, may be located at Bayer Marana or any Bayer location/facility (see
the attached Program Overview). Mentees are being expected to commit about 5 hours per month for the duration of one year from April 2025 to April 2026 to participate in career development and networking sessions hosted by Bayer, and meetings with their Bayer
mentors. As in years past, it is being envisioned that a large portion of the interactions will be virtual.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
