of courses offered as Flex in-Person or Live Online where those are the optimal pedagogical approaches as determined by the relevant H/C/D, and / or academic program director. The Fall 2021 class formats that are already published in Schedule of Classes support
this approach, and I ask you to remember that changes to the schedule at this point in time are destabilizing to those students who have already made their plans for the fall semester. Further, we cannot support large numbers of students in Live Online or
Flex-in-Person classes when they are here on campus, since each student would need a quiet, separate, place to join those classes by zoom, interspersed with moving between their in-person classes.</span></p>

decreases in serious illnesses arising from COVID-19 in Pima and AZ, and continued slow-but-steady improvement in vaccination rates. Further, we continue to see remarkably high efficacy of the 3 vaccines that have been deployed in Arizona against the COVID-19
variants. However, we remain vigilant as new data emerges and our understanding of the virus develops.</span></p>
