</span>longitudinal survey and <span style="color:black">interview study, we would like to learn more about
</span><b>student <u>and</u> instructor experiences during the pandemic for those attending and teaching at Hispanic Serving Institutions in Arizona. <o:p></o:p></b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">This survey is led by <span style="color:black">two faculty and an
</span>Assistant Vice Provost at the University of Arizona with expertise spanning inclusion, attitudes and emotions in higher education, equity, the mission, structure, duties of Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs), and research methods. In this time of racial
injustice and overt harm towards communities of color, and of COVID-19 further exposing inequities in so many institutions and systems, we acknowledge that everyone must actively fight against inequity and we are doing so in the way we know best: through research.

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Our aim is to offer recommendations to Hispanic Serving Institutions across Arizona before the beginning of the Fall 2020 semester, and again throughout Fall 2020, to influence how HSIs respond to this pandemic, both now and moving forward
and to support the core missions of HSIs in AZ. We would also like to share our findings and recommendations with participating institutions, if you are interested.
