<p style="margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0">I know the UA Degree search is terrible, and I have been pushing Student Affairs Marketing to do something about it for years. UA has stopped directing students to it, but it still comes up from time-to-time in Google
searches. I asked the <span style="font-family: Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif, Helvetica, EmojiFont, "Apple Color Emoji", "Segoe UI Emoji", NotoColorEmoji, "Segoe UI Symbol", "Android Emoji", EmojiSymbols; font-size: 16px;">Student Affairs Marketing group
about it, and below is the response. If Degree Search shows up in your Google results, please don't click on it, for reasons explained by Sabra here:</span></p>

<span style="font-size: 11pt;">Our intention was to keep prospective students from using this site and pushing them to arizona.edu/majors in the meantime. Our analytics data shows that this is working. We were fully aware that staff would likely keep seeing
this in search results since they are the ones likely to be Googling the specific program terms. Unfortunately, we cannot force Google to remove the site until the site is either down or redirected to the new Degree Search.</span></p>
