<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:white"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:#002060">It is a dynamic and exciting time at the University of Arizona. As you may know, Vin Del Casino was recently appointed Interim Senior Vice Provost Academic Initiatives
and Student Success. Vin will be reaching out in the near future to provide several strategic updates. In the meantime, I’d like to share changes occurring in Student Success and Retention Innovation (SSRI). I hope this information is helpful to you and our
partners across campus:</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<li class="MsoNormal" style="color:#002060;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">We are excited to broaden the SSRI umbrella, welcoming esteemed professionals and programs. Please see the attached org chart which now includes C.A.T.S. Academics,
Advising Resource Center, Transfer Student Center, and the Strategy Team (formerly referred to as the “SSRI Central Office”).</span><o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:#002060;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">You will also notice in the updated org chart ASA’s (Academic Success and Achievement) new name: Thrive Center. Thrive Center has been working on a dynamic new
mission and innovative approach to student success. Excited to launch several new programs and activities, you will hear from them directly later this month.</span><o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:#002060;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo1"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The SSRI Strategy Team is also welcoming several new members (see the Strategy Team org chart). Over the summer, Sarah Kyte joined the SSRI Strategy Team as the
Senior Research Scientist. Sarah is working on evolving a responsive, action driven, and rigorous research agenda focused on supporting student success in alignment with SSRI connected strategies. This fall Tom Murray and Catalina Carlos will be joining the
team to work on professional development and collaborations for student success. The programs previously overseen by Tom and Cat – Fostering Success, New Start, UAdvantage and Wildcat Welcome – will join Thrive Center.</span><o:p></o:p></li></ul>
