utilize leadership, communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills, as well as relationship skills to assist CALS students with the adjustment required for a successful transition to the University. Peer Mentors receive on-going training and coaching
by attending weekly meetings. Mentors learn to provide support, information and guidance to their student mentees with the goal of better preparing them to be academically and developmentally successful.

· Serve as a peer mentor to 7-15 student mentees per semester<br>
