I wanted to send a few updates for anyone who did not attend the last UPAC meeting.<br>
<br>
<b>Math 111</b>: Higher test scores are now required to register for Math 111. <br>
PCAL/PPCL 50-100% (not 45%), CALG/PPCL 65-100 (not 55%) . <br>
Prerequisite- Math 112. <br>
<br>
<b>Math 100 and 100AX </b>will be 15 week courses in Fall 2016. We will not have<br>
any 7 week courses or late start Math 100 courses. <br>
<br>
We are no longer using ProctorU for online proctoring. We are in the process of<br>
switching to<b> Examity</b> and will have information available soon. We will always<br>
have proctored testing through the UA Testing Office.<br>
<br>
There is a math placement website for advisors available through<br>
<a href="http://math.arizona.edu/academics/placement/advising">http://math.arizona.edu/academics/placement/advising</a> that has links to websites,<br>
a general placement chart, Arizona Math course equivalencies, explanation of math<br>
requirement designators, handouts, where to find test scores, TES<br>
system for out-of-state math articulations, etc. Some of these items <br>
are currently being updated.<br>
<br>
If you have new advisors and want me to meet with your college before orientation<br>
begins, please let me know. I am available most of May, and parts of April around<br>
the out-of-state orientation programs. <br>
