The recent conference in Las Vegas was absolutely fantastic! It was fabulous to see all of you at the Region 10 meeting. While what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, I will never forget our impromptu karaoke sessions. I am writing to you all today to recap

<p><strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Research Symposium</span></strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">

The next research Symposium will take place in Manhattan, Kansas from February 28-29th, 2016. Region 10 is offering two Research Symposium Travel Grants worth $500. To apply, send a two page essay detailing what you would hope to learn by attending this conference
and, in addition, a budget of planned expenses for your trip to Joey Davis at <a href="mailto:joseph.w.davis@asu.edu">
joseph.w.davis@asu.edu</a>. Applications will be open from November 1st through January 1st.

<p><strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Mentoring Program</span></strong><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">

We had quite a few individuals express interest in participating in our regional mentoring program at the annual conference. Our mentoring program pairs experienced and new advisors together to develop a fantastic and supportive relationship. Mentors typically
have three or more years of advising experience with mentees being under three years.
