<p class="MsoNormal">Good Afternoon Advising Community,<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Great news! We’ve got a ton of Fall 2015 SPAN 101, 102, 201, 202 & 251 seats available for continuing students and students who have already gone through orientation and did not get prescheduled for whatever reason. Beginning June 30<sup>th
</sup> (until August 12<sup>th</sup>) all orientation student group holds on Spanish classes will be lifted and all students should have access to add on UAccess based on their placement. In the meantime I’ll be happy to enroll students manually who meet the
criteria.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">FYI - Students are required to take what they placed into. The only possibility to take a lower level Spanish class is to retake the placement exam here in person (if they have only taken it online already through NextSteps) which may or
may not place them lower. Appointments to retake the placement exam can be made at

</span>. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Other options would be to either take Spanish 205, which is a combination of Spanish 101 and 102 in a semester (fulfills second semester proficiency) or to take Spanish 206, which is a combination of Span 201 and 202 in a semester (fulfills
fourth semester proficiency). 205 and 206 are not restricted by placement exam scores so these can be added online using UAccess at any time.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">On a side note, please feel free to give any students incoming, transfer or otherwise my contact information for Spanish AP, IB, CLEP or Transfer Credit evaluation and I’ll be happy to take care of them for you and update appropriately
or enroll them in to SPAN classes they still may need to fulfill language requirements<o:p></o:p></p>
