He has served on Health, Human Services, Banking and Insurance, Higher Education and various ad hoc committees during his tenure in public service. He’s worked in child welfare and mental health services for over 30 years, practicing as a licensed counselor and administrator throughout southern Arizona.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Nina A. Rabin, Associate Clinical Professor of Law, <b>UA James E. Rogers College of Law</b>, graduated from Yale Law School (2003) and Harvard College (1998). She has a joint affiliation with the law school and women’s studies, and directs the interdisciplinary Bacon Immigration Law & Policy Program. Her work focuses on the impact of immigration and border policies on women and families. She’s spoken on immigration policy issues at academic conferences, community forums and a Congressional briefing. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='background:yellow;mso-highlight:yellow'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal>Curt Bradley is the GIS Specialist and Information Technology Director at the <b>Center for Biological Diversity</b> where he has been creating maps and performing spatial analysis of endangered species habitats for the past 13 years. He holds an M.S. in Watershed Management (2003) and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (1992), both from the University of Arizona.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Juston Knight brought an extensive background of knowledge and experience regarding Arizona’s mental health system to Pima County as a Juvenile Probation Officer. As a Probation Officer, he gained a wealth of information about the Criminal Justice System and how it interfaces with the mental health networks. He left the Probation Department and is currently a Victim Advocate at the <b>Pima County Attorney’s Office</b> charged with creating a Victim Services Division for southern Pima County.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Beverly Mason Biggers began working with <b>Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)</b> after her 25-year-old brother, Scott, was hit and killed by a repeat drunk driving offender in 1992. What started as being a member of a support group and volunteering for a victim impact panel, has turned into a non-profit career. Beverly graduated from Pima Community College with an AAS in Business and is the Program Manager for MADD Arizona.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><o:p> </o:p></b></p><p class=MsoNormal>A UA Student Services fee grant has made this career panel/networking event series possible. Seating is limited and food and beverage is included (free!).
