One of the committee’s recommendations was providing an opportunity for transfer students to connect with one another, resources, and campus prior to the start of the school year. As a result of this suggestion, New Student Orientation will be piloting a Transfer Welcome program Saturday, August 24<sup>th</sup>. The program will take place in Social Sciences 100 from 8:30am-12:00pm. The program is free and optional for Transfer students.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Cambria","serif";color:black'> <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Cambria","serif";color:black'>Items to be covered will include a campus welcome from the Dean of Admissions, campus resource information, code of academic integrity, technology on campus, financial aid information and the opportunity for students to meet other new transfer students and support staff.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Cambria","serif";color:black'> <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Cambria","serif";color:black'>Emails have been sent to all transfer students with the invite to participate in this event along with a link to register for the event.
